January Congress On Your Corner makes town stop


Higgins Higgins Rep. Brian Higgins’ next Congress on Your Corner schedule for the month of January will include a stop in West Seneca from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Jan. 19 at the West Seneca Senior Citizen Center, 4620 Seneca St.

Through the program, staff members from Higgins’ office are available at satellite sites throughout the district to better serve the needs of constituents.

The January Congress on Your Corner schedule includes:

Buffalo 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Valley Community Center, 93 Leddy St.

Kenmore Noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Town of Tonawanda Coalition Community Resource Hub at the Kenmore Branch Library, 160 Delaware Road.

Grand Island 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25 at Grand Island Town Hall, 2255 Baseline Road.

During Congress on Your Corner, residents have the opportunity to talk directly with someone from Higgins’ office about federal matters. Issues discussed often include Social Security, veteran benefits or medals, passports, federal student aid or small business assistance.
