‘Tats for Cats’ event slated for April 1

Ten Lives Club Cat Adoption Group and Ink Inc. Tattoo Parlour invite cat lovers throughout Western New York to take their love to the next level with a permanent tattoo, according to a press release.

On April 1, Ink Inc. will host “Tats for Cats,” an all-day tattoo extravaganza to raise funds for Ten Lives Club, a nonprofit cat rescue and adoption agency.

From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ink Inc., 320 Grote St., participants will be able to choose from a number of pre-drawn, animal-themed tattoos, designed and applied by professional tattoo artists. Each tattoo costs $50, and all proceeds will be donated to Ten Lives Club.

While people wait for their turn to be tattooed they can participate in a 50/50 raffle or enter to win baskets full of items donated by local businesses.

Check Ten Lives Club’s Facebook page for updates and to see tattoo designs.

Tattoos are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and are only guaranteed for the first 100 customers. Interested individuals, over the age of 18, are therefore advised to arrive onsite and sign up as early in the day as possible.

For more information about “Tats for Cats,” or to donate a basket or gift to the event, contact Ten Lives Club adoption coordinator, Stephanie Stamoolis, at 646-5577 or stamoolisfam@yahoo.com.
