District names April Students of the Month

The following West Seneca high school students have been named Student of the Month for April in these specific academic subjects:

East Senior

Paige Szekely, art; Avery Cywinski, business; Jared and Patrick O’Neill, community service and citizenship; Kaylee Cole, English; Marissa Notaro, health; Annika Balk, math; Sierra Annunziata, music; Emily Stawarski, physical education; Gracie Przewozny, science; Chloe Burns, social studies; Noah Bily, technology; and Elizabeth Sarro, world language.

West Senior

Yocelynn Berrios, art; Natalie Maloy, business; Jason Dobbs, character and citizenship; Hailey Cavanagh, English; Jason Podkladek, health; Jacob Smielecki, math; Rachel Kempf, music; Mathew Berenguer-Soto, physical education; Ryan Sledz, science; Abigail Robertson, social studies; Jakob Sturges, technology; and James Kibler, world language.

Each month, the high schools recognize students whose coursework and high level of commitment to their respective specialties set them apart, and their achievements and dedication are acknowledged by the school and community.

To recognize them properly, their photos are displayed in their respective schools, as well as at The Market in the Square. This program is funded by local businesses.
