Shell Fab celebrates 30 years in business

Shell Fab celebrated its 30th anniversary recently at its current location with a barbecue for all employees, and to honor owner Marty Monaco.

On June 10, 1988, Monaco filed his first DBA papers as Shell Enterprises. Starting in a 750-square-foot garage on the corner of Ingham Avenue and Stoney Street in Lackawanna, the business began with just Marty and Michelle Monaco. The garage was owned by Marty’s grandfather, Angelo Monaco.

After two location changes, one to Orchard Park, and most recently to a 24,000 square foot building in West Seneca, Shell Fab will relocate shortly to its brand new state of the art, 55,000-square-foot facility at 3260 Clinton St., also in West Seneca.

Shell Fab currently employs 48 full-time employees and seven temporary employees.
