Ryan Byrne, of West Seneca, was one of nearly 520 students who were awarded bachelor degrees from St. Lawrence University during Commencement ceremonies May 20 in Canton, New York. Byrne is a member of the Class of 2018 and majored in history. Byrne attended Bishop Timon-Saint Jude High School.

Courtney Watson of West Seneca was named to the president’s list at Georgia State University during the spring 2018 semester.

Kiernan Higgins of West Seneca was named to the president’s list at Coastal Carolina University for the spring 2018 semester. Higgins is an accounting major.

Megan Morcio, Jonathan Needham and Neil Walsh of West Seneca were recognized by the athletic department at John Carroll University for exceptional academic achievements of student-athletes. Morcio is an athlete in women’s cross country, Needham is a member of the men’s golf team, and Walsh participates in men’s lacrosse.

Ally Jindra and Christopher Mayrose of West Seneca were named to the dean’s list at Potsdam University for the spring 2018 semester. Jindra is majoring in music business and Mayrose is majoring in business administration.

Geneseo University named Elizabeth Bengert, Halee Finn, Liehanna Pause and Laura Skrzypczyk of West Seneca to the president’s list for the spring 2018 semester.

Brandi Dupere of West Seneca was named to the president’s list at Potsdam University for the spring 2018 semester. Dupere is majoring in theater.

Geneseo University has named the following West Seneca residents to the dean’s list for the spring 2018 semester: Joelle Crean, Elyse Fuerst, Sarah Healy, Kelly Kulakowski, Victoria Maass, Madeline Stoklosa, Madelyn Storms, Eamon Danieu, Kerilyn Kostek, George Steele, Robert Juda and Alexis Carey.
