Historical Society features ‘Mark Twain Live’

The next general meeting of the West Seneca Historical Society and Museum will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the West Seneca Senior Citizens Center, 4620 Seneca St.

The society will welcome Mike Randall, WKBW-TV meteorologist, who will perform “Mike Randall as Mark Twain Live.”

According to the society, Randall created, directed and stars in this critically acclaimed one-man show about Mark Twain, who ranks among the great figures of American literature. In addition to being a famous novelist who wrote “Tom Sawyer” and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,” Mark Twain was a lecturer and storyteller who performed at many venues across the U.S. and abroad.

The general membership meeting begins at 7 p.m., with Randall’s performance immediately following. The meeting and performance is free to members of the Historical Society and students. A donation of $5 is required for nonmembers.
